Alcudia is probably one of the towns that stole my heart when I travelled through the northern part of Mallorca. The little but vibrant old town located in the middle of the new town of Alcudia is absolutely charming. You’ll find different local shops selling summer hippie clothes and accessories and local products such as ham and olives.
But let’s get to the point of this article: the Forum Boutique Hotel and Spa we stayed in. This hotel really lifted our vacay to a different level. The minute we entered the warmest welcome was given to us by the manager of the hotel. A charismatic enthousiast and funny man with a huge smile on his face immediately made us feel home. It must have been the warmest welcome I ever received. The further stay in the hotel learned us that every single member of their staff is that friendly, motivated, multilingual and interested in the story of their guests. They all gave us some advice about the surroundings and the must-visits of Alcudia. This was very helpful since it was so hot outside (32 degrees celsius the whole week we went there, mid july) we hardly had any energy left to look for the hotspots ourselves.
Although the hotel is located one of the busiest squares of the town, it created a very peaceful and refreshing environment. The room next to the entrance hall offered us the possibility to cool down in the sofa’s next to the small but cute little bar.
Nonetheless the real eye-catcher of the hotel is the little swimming pool in the middle of the hotel walls. They really used the space to the fullest. The tiny but somehow spacious feeling terrace has some sunbeds. To our surprise they were always available. Next to the terrace the hotel has a spa with hammam, sauna and hot tub in which you can relax after a day of walking.
The hotel room itself was also everything we could have wished for: fresh, very modern, bright, super clean and was equipped with airconditioning, a TV, free WIFI and a mini bar.
To resume: a very nice stay with an outstanding staff, a cute and peaceful hotel in a vibrant city! We really recommend this one!
